Come along to Burton Constable Hall and Grounds, and enjoy our Easter activities! From Saturday 23rd March to Sunday 7th April, our trails, crafts and Have-a-Go Archery mean there's something for everyone!  Normal admission charges apply, plus £2 per child (19 months to 15 yrs).

Earlier this year, Burton Constable's 'Turkish Slave' sculpture was sent for conservation at Lincoln Conservation. Staff at the historic house and at the University of Lincoln quickly realised the conservation and redisplay of this 18th Century sculpture depicting an enslaved figure posed important questions relating to how historic houses and museums can interpret and engage with the conflicted histories that such objects represent. On 28th October this journey resulted in a free online event with curator Philippa Wood, art historian Sarah Thomas, conservator Phillipa McDonnell, art and cultural historian Michael Ohajuru, author Malachi McIntosh and performing artist Akeim Toussaint Buck.
