After a terrific trio of shows earlier this year at Live on the lawn, Gary Star Pantomimes returns with the perfect Halloween family favourite: The Wizard of Oz!
Join Dorothy in the magical land of Oz, as she follows the yellow brick road to the Emerald City to meet the Wizard. On route she'll encounter a Scarecrow which needs a brain, a Tin Man with a missing heart and a Cowardly Lion who craves courage!
Watch out for the Wicked Witch of the West who'll be up to her old tricks in trying to spoil the fun for Dorothy and her new friends.
Gary Starr Pantomimes are original and fully interactive. Filled with songs and dances, their actors will encourage the audience to participate and interact with the characters.
Each performance lasts around 1 hour with character walkabouts in between performances for photo opportunities.
Your ticket includes entry into the Grounds which is open from 10am-5pm, so you can spend the whole day at Burton Constable enjoying the existing Walks & Trails, Stable Block, as well as the various Halloween activities.
Plus a free goodie bag with every child ticket! (Over 18 months old).

This is an indoor production, as part of our Halloween week. Please bring your own chair or blanket to sit on.
Despite the show being indoors, it’s a big, old open space and will not be heated. Therefore, we suggest bringing plenty of warm clothing and blankets to keep yourselves cosy!
There will be access to public toilets but we ask that you aim to visit before or after the show, rather than during. The same can be said for stocking up on food and drink from Stables Kitchen.
No refunds will be issued unless unforeseen circumstances threaten the health & safety of our staff, performers and visitors. Refunds will be issued if the performance is cancelled for other issues.
