Burton Constable is recognising the importance of the National Heritage Lottery Fund's impact on the work carried out by this charitable foundation by taking part in the National Lottery's 2023 Open Week Thank You event.
This event, running 18th -26th March, sees venues nationwide throwing open their doors to thank all those who support good causes through the National Lottery. On Wednesday 22nd March, National Lottery players with proof of purchase get free Grounds and Stables admission, open 10am - 4pm.
This is our way of saying thank you to the National Lottery who have funded major projects here like the restoration of the Stables and of the Hall's Carved Room, and is part of a week-long national celebration - and of course to all those who have funded the National Lottery in turn!
Burton Constable itself has received many grants through Lottery funding in the past, with this most recently enabling us to restore Burton Constable's Carved Room to it's 18th Century splendour and indeed transforming the stable block that visitors can see on the 22nd March.
The Grounds and Stables are open 10am until 4pm; booking is not required. Only one person can redeem their free entry per ticket purchase.
